PCR is short for post-consumer recycled. PCR products are made from recycled plastic from post-consumer materials in the household, commercial, industrial and institutional sectors. Post-consumer waste is the largest waste stream in the world. Therefore, in the manufacture of PCR plastics, the waste is converted into raw materials and becomes a very environmentally friendly solution.

The production of PCR plastic begins with the collection of post-consumer waste. PCR particles are produced by professional sorting (manual or otherwise), thorough washing, reheating, and grinding. The particles are then used to make other new products.

Advantages of PCR plastics

Recycling and reusing plastic already consumed is significantly cost-effective and reduces waste. Processing used plastic requires less water, less fuel and less energy. In summary, PCR plastics can reduce the use and loss of fossil resources and other resources, reduce carbon emissions, and relieve most of the environmental burden.
