This makes them ideal for storing cooked fish and meat, ready meals and medical products. With a wide seal on 3 sides they are totally waterproof and whilst most people use them with vacuum sealers they can be used as ordinary bags. Are compostable vacuum seal bags suitable for salmon?
They can be developed for salmon and seafood applications, but suitability depends on the film structure, product condition, storage temperature, vacuum process, seal strength and required shelf life. We recommend testing the final specification with the actual product before commercial production.
Can the bags be used for frozen salmon?
Vacuum packaging for frozen seafood requires adequate seal integrity, flexibility and puncture resistance at low temperatures. Tell us your storage conditions and product specifications so we can recommend an appropriate material structure.
Can you custom print the vacuum bags?
