BIOPACK compostable coffee pouches with valves are designed for freshly roasted whole-bean and ground coffee that continues to release carbon dioxide after roasting.  

The one-way degassing valve allows excess CO₂ to escape while helping limit oxygen and moisture entering the pouch. Combined with a high-barrier compostable laminate, resealable zipper and stable flat-bottom structure, the pouch is designed for specialty coffee roasters that need both freshness protection and sustainable packaging.

Sizes, film structures, valve position, zipper style, printing and finishes can be customized according to roast volume, filling equipment and shelf-life requirements.

A one-way degassing valve allows CO₂ to leave the pouch while limiting outside oxygen from entering. This enables coffee roasters to pack coffee sooner after roasting while helping preserve aroma and freshness.
